Starhawk: my hero-worship confession

Well, I confess. Last night I engaged in some good old-fashioned hero-worship.
I try my best not to put people up on a pedestal, but when I heard that Starhawk was going to be in Regina, I just couldn’t help myself. She is a major hero of mine! (Which, yes I know, is a bit weird for a priest, but those of you who have been reading my Sophian work will know why I’m a fan.)
It was a really great evening. Christopher and I went on the roadtrip, along with friend and KAIROS comrade Rissy, and were treated to a drum circle and an excellent conversation about the madness of the tarsands from the perspective of earthbased spirituality.
And I got to do a little hero-worshiping along the way!
